  • We're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.
  • We're not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to products that occur after delivery to you or an ATL (Authority To Leave) address.
  • We're not liable for any loss resulting from fraudulent use of your credit/debit card, unless our acts or omissions caused the loss.
  • If we're liable to you for any losses, our liability will be reduced or limited if you caused or contributed to those losses. Our liability will also be limited to the total dollar amount of the products purchased by you, except where our acts or omissions caused or contributed to those losses. We reserve the right to change these Terms periodically. However, the Terms applicable at the time you place your order will govern that order.

Your order

After placing your order and processing your payment, we will send you an order confirmation by email. This email does not guarantee product availability but confirms receipt of your order request. Your order constitutes an offer to purchase, which we accept by dispatching your product(s) and sending you an email confirming dispatch.

We reserve the right to accept or cancel your order for various reasons, including but not limited to breaches of these Terms, product unavailability, errors in price or description, payment or address issues, fraud prevention, or as otherwise outlined in these Terms. If we cancel your order, we will notify you by email and offer a full refund or store credit.

Prices, payment and GST

All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars and include GST. Payments are processed in Australian dollars. We accept various payment methods, including credit card, PayPal, and others displayed during checkout.

We are not liable for damages or losses resulting from fraudulent card use, except where caused by our acts or omissions.

Delivery

Fees vary based on product size, weight, quantity, origin, and destination. Delivery estimates are provided during checkout. Changes to delivery details may incur additional charges. If high freight charges apply, we may contact you to discuss further fees or cancel the order, with a full refund issued if canceled.

Our Products

We strive to accurately describe all products on our website. However, errors may occur, and we reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies at any time.

Some products are handmade or made from natural materials, leading to slight variations between the product image(s) and the received product. Any such discrepancies will be noted on the product listing. While we aim for accurate color representation, please be aware that colors may appear differently on various displays.

We reserve the right to remove products or edit content on our website at any time. Such changes will apply from the time they are published on our website, but will not affect placed orders.

We utilize various technologies, including generative artificial intelligence, to enhance website content and features. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we cannot guarantee absolute precision.

Returns

Change of mind returns

At Shoparachi, we want you to be satisfied with your purchases. However, if you find yourself wanting to return a product due to a change of mind, please adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Return Period: You have up to 30 days from the date of receipt to return the product.

2. Refund Type: For change of mind returns, we issue store credit.

3. Shipping Costs: You are responsible for the shipping costs associated with the return, regardless of any previous shipping promotions applied to your order.

4. Return Process: To initiate a return, simply contact our Customer Care team with your name and order number.

5. Condition of Returned Products: The product must be in 'as-new' condition, securely packaged in its original packaging. It should not have been used, assembled, damaged, washed, or laundered.

6. Exclusions: Certain products cannot be returned due to a change of mind, including:

  • Made-to-order items
  • Mattresses and bedding
  • Clearance items
  • Personalised items
  • Seasonal products
  • Gift cards
  • Items for commercial or non-domestic use
  • Items assembled or installed by Shoparachi or our contractors upon delivery

7. Processing Time: Once we receive your return and confirm its 'as-new' condition, we will issue a store credit voucher via email within 5 business days. This voucher will be equal to the price paid for the product, minus the initial shipping cost and any return shipping costs incurred by us.

8. Purchase Protection: If you opted for Purchase Protection on your order, you may have additional options for returns.

9. Validity of Store Credit: Store credit voucher codes are valid for one year from the date of issue.

10. Return Method: Please do not deliver returns in person to our depots, offices, or warehouse facilities. Instead, use our online Help Centre to arrange the return or contact us for assistance.

Wrong product delivered

If you receive an incorrect product, please inform us within 3 days of delivery. We will arrange for the correct product to be sent to you and the incorrect product to be picked up at no cost to you.

Faults and Damages

  • If a product or its packaging is significantly damaged upon arrival, refuse to accept the delivery and contact us immediately, providing photos or videos of the damage.
  • If you notice missing parts, faults, defects, or damage after receiving the product, please contact us within 3 days of delivery, providing clear photos or videos of the issue.

Your Rights under the Australian Consumer Law:

As a consumer, you have rights protected under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). These rights include guarantees that the goods you purchase will:

  • Be of acceptable quality and not faulty or unsafe.
  • Match their description.
  • Be fit for their intended purpose.

Nothing in our terms is intended to limit or exclude your rights as a consumer under the ACL. You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure.
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage caused by our products.
  • Have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality, and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability:

We exclude all implied terms and warranties of any kind relating to our terms, except where expressly provided or where required by the ACL.

We will not be liable in contract, tort, or otherwise for any loss, damage, costs, or expenses, including consequential, special, incidental, or exemplary damages, or for indirect or economic losses suffered or incurred by you, except where required by law.

Our liability to you for losses arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the total dollar amount of the products purchased by you, except where your losses are caused or contributed to by our acts or omissions.

Cancellations:

You may cancel all or part of an order before it reaches the dispatch processing stage, subject to our discretion. Once an order reaches this stage, cancellations or changes are only possible with our agreement. We aim to process orders quickly, so requests for cancellations should be made promptly. After products have been shipped, they cannot be canceled. Products described as 'made to order' cannot be canceled under any circumstances.

Exchange:

We do not offer exchanges. Simply return items following our Returns Policy and place a new order.

Our Rights:

We reserve the right to refuse a return if we cannot reasonably verify that you purchased the product from us or if we are not responsible for the damage according to our Faults and Damages policy.

Warranties

We may offer warranties against defects or structural issues for selected products for specific periods (e.g., 1, 3, 5, or 10 years) from the purchase date.

These warranties apply only to products purchased from Shoparachi if the product description expressly states the warranty's applicability. Please refer to the Terms and Conditions for warranty details, exclusions, and claim instructions.

Manufacturer Warranties

Some products may come with separate manufacturer warranties, indicated on the product page. In case of issues covered by a manufacturer's warranty, contacting the manufacturer directly may result in faster resolution, as they have dedicated support centers and access to detailed product knowledge and spare parts.

If you prefer our assistance or are unsatisfied with the manufacturer's resolution, please contact us for further support.

Gift Cards

Customers can purchase digital Gift Cards from our website. Upon purchase, we will email the Gift Card to the recipient's provided email address, including redemption instructions. Once redeemed, the Gift Card amount will appear in the recipient's 'My Account' section.

Gift Cards can only be used for purchases on our website. If a purchase is less than the Gift Card amount, the remaining balance will be stored for future use. If a purchase exceeds the Gift Card amount, the recipient must pay the excess using another payment method. Refunds for orders made with Gift Cards will be refunded as store credit.

Gift Cards expire 3 years from the purchase date, per Australian Consumer Law. They are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced or refunded.

Other Policies

We reserve the right to refuse business or take necessary steps if a customer engages in unprofessional, inappropriate, bullying, or abusive conduct.

Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures arising from circumstances beyond our control, such as acts of God, government actions, transportation issues, epidemics, pandemics, etc.

Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by New South Wales laws and subject to its courts' non-exclusive jurisdiction. Our website is accessible to individuals capable of forming legally binding contracts under applicable law.

Relationship:

No agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer, or franchisor-franchisee relationship is created by these Terms.

Severability

If any provision in these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, it will not affect the remaining provisions, which will remain in full force and effect.
