We may provide warranties against defects and/or structural issues for selected products, for varying periods (e.g., 1, 3, 5, or 10 years) from the date of purchase.

These warranties apply only to products where our website expressly states the warranty terms at the time of purchase. The details, exclusions, and instructions for making a warranty claim are outlined below.

Shoparachi Warranty Terms

Shoparachi provides a warranty against defects for certain products for periods of 1, 3, 5, or 10 years from the date of purchase (Shoparachi Warranty).

This warranty is applicable only to products where the description on the Shoparachi website expressly states the warranty terms at the time of purchase (Applicable Product). The warranty period starts from the date of purchase.

If we agree to your warranty claim, we will determine whether you receive a refund, partial refund, or replacement for defective parts. You will be responsible for reasonable costs and expenses associated with making a claim, including returning or transporting the defective product to us.

To make a warranty claim, please log a claim with proof of purchase.

Exclusions

You are not entitled to a remedy under this warranty for:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from improper assembly or modification (except if done by us or our contractors)
  • Damage from abnormal use, misuse, or abuse
  • Damage from improper care or maintenance (e.g., fabric, leather, or timber)
  • Damage to external or product packaging only
  • Damage occurring during your handling and transportation of goods
  • Insignificant minor variations in product dimensions, color, grain, or finish
  • Insignificant minor imperfections or superficial blemishes

Important Information

In addition to this warranty, you may have rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement, refund, or compensation for major failures or any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. We will collaborate with you to find a solution that meets your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and/or this warranty.

5-Year Structural Warranty for Selected Products

Shoparachi provides a warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase of selected products from us which are advertised on the Shoparachi website as having a structural warranty that applies at the time of sale for the structural components listed below:

  • Internal metal and timber frame
  • Legs


(Shoparachi 5-Year Structural Warranty).

Where we agree to your warranty claim, we will decide, depending on the situation, whether you will receive a refund, partial refund, or replacement of any parts we consider to be defective. To the extent permitted by law, you will be responsible for the reasonable costs and expenses associated with this warranty claim, including returning or transporting the defective product to us.

To make a warranty claim, please log a claim (with proof of purchase) within 5 years from the date of purchase here.

This Shoparachi 5-Year Structural Warranty does not cover defects in the following components/features of the selected products:

  • Foam, filling, and padding
  • Fabric and leather covers or upholstered elements
  • Hardware and fixtures
  • Webbing, suspension, brackets
  • Feet pads or grips
  • Bed slats
  • Any other feature not expressly indicated as falling within the structural warranty above

You will not be entitled to a remedy under this Shoparachi 5-Year Structural Warranty for:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage arising from improper assembly or modification (except if we or our contractors are responsible for the assembly)
  • Damage arising from abnormal use or abuse
  • Damage that you cause after delivery
  • Damage resulting from a failure to take reasonable care to prevent the product from being of acceptable quality
  • Damage to external or product packaging only
  • Damage occurring during your own handling and transportation of goods
